Lessons follow the student, but a typical first year covers:
Open chords, barre chords and smooth changes
Strumming, fingerpicking and playing with a metronome
Reading tabs, rhythm charts and basic notation
Bass lines and grooves for bass students
Teens can join Rock Band Lab once they know a handful of songs.
Acoustic or electric first?
Either works. Pick the one you want to play. We have loaner guitars for the trial lesson.
My hands are small. Is that a problem?
No. Younger students start on a 1/2 or 3/4 size guitar, and we will tell you which fits.
Do you teach bass too?
Yes. Marcus teaches electric bass for beginners and players who want to read and groove better.
