A first year on drums usually includes:
Rock, funk, pop and jazz grooves
Rudiments for control and speed
Reading drum notation and counting fills
Playing along with tracks and with other students
Practice pads and quiet practice tips are included, for families with neighbors.
Do we need a drum kit at home?
Not at first. A practice pad and sticks cover the first months. We will tell you when a kit makes sense.
Will it be loud?
Our drum room is sound-treated and we provide ear protection for every student.
Can drummers join a band here?
Yes. Rock Band Lab needs drummers every season.
